AIT demonstrated the capability at a recent seminar called ‘Wireless in the Data Centre’, a networking event held for data centre managers at the AIT offices in Reading. Wireless sensors were shown to remotely log and report temperature and humidity from a live server rack in the AIT innovation suite across a secure 802.11n Wi-Fi link.
