AIT Partnership Group Ltd, the leading UK integrator of enterprise wireless and network technology has been appointed as preferred supplier for Aerohive Networks on Jisc's routers and switches framework. The partnership allows further education, higher education and specialist colleges to purchase vendor technology at sector-wide negotiated prices, as well as helping with informed purchasing decisions.
As part of a £12.2 million expansion plan, North Lindsey college were looking to update their Wireless Network to allow staff and students to connect seamlessly and securely across the whole campus. After choosing AIT to help them with the project, an Aerohive solution was chosen and 173 access points installed across the site, all managed by the Hive Manager platform.
